Frank' Seneca station, 76th and National, is an historic landmark.

In 1927, Fred Barnard coined a phrase in the magazine Printer's Ink. The phrase was the now-famous, "One picture is worth a thousand words." Barnard wouldn't take credit for the saying because he hoped people would take it more seriously if he called it a Chinese proverb.

Here are pics of the WAC monument that we helped purchase with donations and funds left over from our 25th class reunion. Principal Jack Padek combined our $1,900 with a contribution from the class of 2003, and commissioned this high-class granite and brick structure in front of the school. Be sure to read Jack's note to the right--a fitting capstone to our reunion celebration.

I'd love to hear from my fellow WAC classmates. Here are some real WACcky pictures of some of you and of our senior wall. I'm in one of these too. Was Tony Kerhin class president or leader of the Ubangis tribe?

As I mentioned in our bio page, our kids have developed a special bond with WAC since Sue and I are alumni. Here are our three sports-kids juxatposed with this old pic of me scoring a basket against Hale. The WAC apple has not fallen far from the tree for us.--Mike

In August of 2000, I did a "walking tour" of West Allis and took over 70 photos of "old haunts". Here are some of Central.
