Tony Kerhin: Hi, Everyone, Our last reunion was really nice, and so let me start by thanking Dave and Marie and all the committee members who worked to set up all the fun events for us! Much has happened in our lives since the last reunion. (Doesn’t it seem like, once you make it over the hill, life starts picking up speed?) Our kids are turning into grown men and women themselves, and some are older than we were when we left Central. All our lives come with occasional sadness and pain; some much more than others. We have lost a few classmates, and perhaps a few spouses or parents since last time. But I hope that somewhere along the line, as our careers evolve, and our kids get braces off, earn drivers’ licenses and diplomas, and start out on their own lives, we will experience a certain degree of satisfaction. I trust most of us have done the best we could. Our lives are moving along, and I hope most of you can all make it to the reunion this summer – where you’ll be able to share a memory and a story with old friends, and perhaps even make some new ones! God bless, |
